Gilbert Reverse Osmosis
Under-sink reverse osmosis for cleaner-tasting drinking water, coffee and ice, installed at your kitchen sink.
A reverse osmosis (RO) system pushes water through a very fine membrane that holds back most dissolved minerals and salts, along with many other contaminants. Pre-filters protect the membrane, a small storage tank holds the filtered water, and a carbon post-filter polishes the taste before it reaches a dedicated faucet at your sink.
RO pairs well with a water softener. The softener protects the whole house from scale, and the RO system removes the minerals and the small amount of sodium the softener adds, so drinking and cooking water tastes clean.
We install RO under the kitchen sink, add a faucet through the sink or countertop, and can run a line to your refrigerator for filtered water and ice.

| Option | How it works | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Tank RO | Fills a small storage tank under the sink | Most kitchens; steady flow at the faucet |
| Tankless RO | Filters on demand without a storage tank | Tight cabinets; less space under the sink |
| Remineralizing filter | Adds back a little calcium and magnesium after the membrane | People who prefer a fuller taste |

A separate drinking water faucet mounted in the sink or countertop.

RO sends a small amount of water to drain. We connect it with the right saddle or tailpiece so it stays quiet and leak-free.

Optional tubing to the refrigerator so ice and dispenser water come from the RO system.

We tell you which filters to change and when, so the membrane keeps working.
Pre- and post-filters are usually changed about once a year, and the membrane every few years depending on water use and quality.
RO sends some water to drain while it filters. Running it after a softener and keeping filters fresh helps the system work efficiently.
Yes. We can run a line from the RO system to the fridge for filtered dispenser water and ice.
RO treats water at one tap. A softener protects the rest of the house from scale. Many Gilbert homes use both.
